Random Acts of Stewardship on our public lands is needed now more than ever. Recreational activity in our forests have grown significantly and so has the volume of trash. Some being left by users and some being dumped by abusers. It’s piling up!
Trash No Land and the Izaak Walton League of Eugene urge all who visit our public lands to help cleanup as you recreate. Always carry extra trash bags, gloves and fire prevention gear when recreating.
If it didn’t grow in the forest, it shouldn’t be in the forest!
On Saturday, July 26th, 14 volunteers came together to do a little yard work in one of our backyard playgrounds. This is BLM managed land West of Eugene.
Three recreational target shooting sites are now in better condition, thanks to these stewards of our public lands.
Well done team!
