Over 100 people cleaned up the Yacolt Burn Saturday, April 25th, 2026!!!

That trash didn’t stand a chance against these volunteers!

Plus or minus a few, I didn’t get an accurate count, but I heard DNR people saying 100+ volunteers.  There were two dumpsters and I only got a photo of the one at the Jones Creek Trailhead parking lot… It was full.  And look at all those tires!

This annual event is hosted and organized by WA Dept of Natural Resources (WA DNR), Pacific Cascade Region.  They do this every Spring.

Our crew of 14 cleaned up 2-3 target shooting spots, along with some dumping on a spur road, multiple tires spread here and there, and a large dump of tires in one spot.

Bare Brick & Stone~vs~Harsh graffiti on Wild Boulders in the forest!

Chock up another win for Bare Brick & Stone!  We got more of that ugly graffiti off the natural Free Range Boulders who reside in the forest of SW Washington.  It didn’t stand a chance against World’s Best Graffiti Remover products!  Those boulders are now basking in the glory of full sunshine and loving every minuet of it!

If it didn’t grow in the forest, it shouldn’t be in the forest!

Today was a good day. Bare Brick & Stone helped to make it so!

There is more trash still out there!

So pack a trash bag or two every time you visit.

Be sure to offer a big THANK YOU to all the clubs, groups, organizations and WA DNR for the great stewardship shown today.  Everyone did an awesome job.  It’s a great way to start the recreation season.

Let’s keep it that way!
