The Washington Armed Forces Initiative will host their second annual “Garbage and Grouse Round-up” in the Capitol State State Forest’s Triangle Pit, Washington.  The event is Co-Hosted with WA Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, WaGuns.org, Trash No Land, and WA Dept of Nat Resources. We welcome everyone to help us clean up one of our Western Washington public shooting areas.

The morning will be filled with a boots-on-the-ground clean-up of several shooting sites located on public land focused primarily on Triangle Pit. Please bring tools and gloves as we remove old targets, shells, and trash. Lunch will be provided along with some giveaways for our participants.

In the afternoon AFI members, that participated in the clean-up, will stroll along the gated roads of Capitol State Forest in search of Washington’s various grouse species, affectionately known as “Wood Chicken”.
